Avila Edmonds-Doberenz is a Pennsylvania-based painter whose work explores the body, movement, and abstracted landscapes through memory. She received her BA from Sarah Lawrence College, where she studied Studio Art and Art History. Drawing on vibrant color, expressive mark-making, and an intuitive approach to painting, Edmonds-Doberenz creates works that move fluidly between figure and landscape, representation and abstraction. Her paintings transform remembered experiences into atmospheric and emotionally resonant compositions.
